Mission: Keep Evansville Beautiful will be a catalyst for citizen action by creating a beautiful, inviting, healthy outdoor environment to assure an improved quality of life and enhanced economic growth for the greater Evansville area

Quality of life: neighborhoods, parks, tree canopy, healthy living
Economic growth: business, young adult retention, recruiting, innovative
Greater Evansville: think regionally and statewide.






Vision: Keep Evansville Beautiful will align with businesses, government, schools, churches and neighborhoods in order to create a sustained focus on the beautification of Evansville.

Report Card Progress
Downtown Evansville image Municipal greenscapes and gateways; studying protecting and improving Fourth and Main streets' park (Kempf Park).
Gateways Welcome infrastructure to be installed 2012. Improving the region's first impression: Airport, State Road 57 and US 41, I-164.
Greenscapes Major landscaping at high profile traffic and pedestrian areas. Borries, Georgette, Garvin, Sievers Memorial, Riverside Drive.
Engaging active citizens Clean Evansville Litter Initiative with Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, Great American Cleanup, Urban Forestry, Recycling
Regional outreach Work with the entire region to improve curb appeal and sense of civics and citizen pride. Warrick, Gibson, Posey and Vanderburgh counties at present.
Encourage formation of Keep Indiana Beautiful Tabled at the time
