Keep Indiana Beautiful, organized in a regional manner paralleling Indiana Department of Transportation Districts, would be a tremendous boost to our state’s economic development.
By improving aesthetics for travelers, investors and potential recruits throughout the state, the hoped-for Keep Indiana Beautiful affiliate of Keep America Beautiful will strengthen economic development. In the 17 states with state-wide affiliations, one finds better cohesion and support for statewide highway landscaping, statewide litter abatement and statewide recycling promotional activities. Also affiliated states have access to larger Keep America Beautiful-sponsor grants.
