Airport Gateway Project: Budget
Up to six selected proposals will receive a Stipend in the amount of $1,000.00 for the creation of a maquette.
KEB's budget for this sculpture is to be determined by the scope of the seleccted proposal and funds collected through donations, but may not exceed $100,000.00. The budget includes all costs associated with the project including, but not to be limited to: artist's design fee, travel, materials, fabrication costs, documentation, transportation and installation of the work.

December 2011 Selection Committee meets to choose Proposals
January, 2012 Selected Proposals notified*
March, 2012 Maquettes's deadline for delivery
April, 2012 Maquettes exhibited for a public display
May, 2012 Announcement of Final Selection for Sculpture
October 2012 Installation of Sculpture
*Upon notification of Selected Proposals, the artists must sign a contractual agreement regarding the creation of the maquettes in order to receive the stipend. For Artistic Collaborations, only one $1,000.00 stipend will be paid for a maquette for a selected proposal.
